Yep. From a little bit after Slave was released until a bit after MATM was released. That’s why singles from “Britney” really did not chart well in the US, but did well internationally.

Basically the gist of it was that while planning Dream Within A Dream tour, Britney’s team decided not to go with Clear Channel Entertainment as their tour promoter. They got pissed off, and decided to not allow them to play Britney songs on any of the US radio stations that they owned (which was practically all of the big ones). Once ITZ promotion started going on and they were planning Onyx Hotel Tour, they hired Clear Channel and then they lifted the ban finally. Pretty fucking lame.
